A rare pair of Chinese export porcelain figure groups of riders carrying vases, seated on Buddhistic Lions, all brightly enamelled in famille rose.
These are extremely rare figures, very well modelled and with lively colouring. The riders are not Chinese but also not European, more likely from one of the many nations along the Silk Road that traded with China.
